General update...2!
05/13/2020, by Brickbreakr
Sorry once again for a month-long gap, bats and ghouls, everything continues to happen so much. Let's break down some of what's new, yeah?
Medicine Square Garden MV
A new music video for Medicine Square Garden by Frank Iero and the Future Violents was put out. Content warning for flashing lights and gore.
More Gerard Demos
Gerard's put up a couple more demos on his SoundCloud; "PS Earth" and "Crate Amp_01"
The Quarantine Coloring Book
Gerard Way and Sara Taylor have been organizing a project called The Quarantine Coloring Book, a page-a-day digital coloring book featuring lineart from all sorts of creatives. Gerard, Mikey, Ray, and Frank all have pieces in the first volume, which you can download on the official website.
New Electric Century
Mikey Way and Dave Debiak have a new Electric Century project coming out this fall.
I say project because it's not only a new record: it's got an accompanying graphic novel through Z2 Comics as well.
The comic is co-written by Way and Shaun Simon, and illustrated by Toby Cypress.
You can read more about the project in AltPress's article about it, and there are preorders available on Electric Century's website.
MCR Face Masks
The merch listing for these says that they "had these masks made to keep you dust-free in the desert, a show that never happened, never will." Which kind of makes me want to cry for a few reasons.
Site updates
Just to let you know a bit about what's happening on this end: we've got a MCRXX tour updates page now for information on pandemic-related cancellations and postponements. I'll put a sticky link up at the top of this section for ease of access.
I've also put together an article archive page to clean up the index a bit (it'll end up a mile long otherwise, haha). From here on out, all articles will have their own static links now!
You could link your friends to a specific post of ours now, maybe, if you want. It's something I've been meaning to implement from day 1, and it's here now! Yay!
Aaaand that's it for now! Catch ya later, folks. Thanks for reading.
